Huntwatch
Huntwatch is a feature documentary about the 50 year battle over the Canadian commercial seal hunt. I am one of the producers, the DoP, vfx artist, and an additional editor.
After a successful and award winning festival run, Huntwatch had a theatrical run in New York and LA in advance of the broadcast premiere on Discovery. It was one of 110 documentaries that were considered for the 2016 Oscars. Lionsgate picked up the digital rights and the theatrical version is now available on a number of platforms including Amazon, iTunes and Vudu. You can find the TV version on DiscoveryGo or On Demand.
Seized
A failed wildlife sanctuary can’t take care of it’s animals, but refuses to relocate them. Law enforcement steps in and relies on IFAW to orchestrate the relocation of some 20 captive wild animals to sanctuaries across the US.
Originally conceived as a five part limited series for release on IFAW’s web site, the goal was to get the story out as fast as possible. The resulting “no frills” episodes were then posted as a “binge watch” offering. Seized went on to win a Hermes, Gold award, in the social media/blog interactivity category.
I was the producer, writer, director, DoP, editor, and colorist.
How to Search for a Rental
Housing Assistance Corporation of Cape Cod needed to make a series of PowerPoints that their clients could watch on their own. To make it interesting and engaging, we devised a series of animations that would keep the audience’s attention while being easy and affordable to update when information changed in the future.
I was the producer, writer, director, designer, animator, editor, and VO artist.
