Abby Freedman has been a freelance scriptwriter for the past fifteen years and an independent producer since 1991. Her work has received wide recognition, including a Red Ribbon in drama from the American Film and Video Association and a national first prize Owl Award for an educational documentary series on elderly abuse. Her work has been screened at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the American Film Institute, the Philadelphia Film Festival, the Dallas Video Festival, and many other places.
